Haircut for 3K!

We decided to chop off Lilyana's hair for the start of her 3K. This was one of the first of many hard decisions I had to make. I love, love, love long hair (which explains why mine is usually long) and I loved Lilyana's long hair BUT, it never looked nice. Poor girl, her hair is full of colic's and always looked messy. Good thing is though that she absolutely loves her haircut! And it is so much easier to take care of. Even though I am a long hair lover I am loving her short bob!

Another Zoo Trip

Another great trip to the Zoo. We were able to make it to the Zoo plenty of times this summer. The kids just can't get enough of the animals. Grandma and Grandpa and Grandma Peg came along with us. We were there this time for Mike's annual work picnic. The kids just love seeing animals, almost every nice day that G & G Peterson have the kids they take them to the Family Farm to see animals. These kids have pretty much lived outside the entire summer, we are so not looking forward to winter!

My First Triathlon

My first triathlon, Cedarburg, 1/4 mile swim, 10.5 mile bike ride, 5k run. I finished 1:23:07 and I am satisfied with that. I finished 6th place out of 21 women in my age group. I will for sure be doing it again next year and can't wait to see if I can beat my personal best. I wouldn't have been able to do it without my friend Sarah by my side!
