Christmas Day!
Always a crazy time at the Peterson house for Christmas Day! But equally just as fun! Grandpa Peterson had Ellyson and Lilyana upstairs to rehearse Christmas Carols they would later sing to the family. (I will try to post a video of it). Ashley was able to get the whole room to settle down and be quiet for a few moments to listen to some scripture readings so we do not forget the true meaning of Christmas. Then the craziness began and didn't stop! (I think this may be way all the men take their annual shots right when everyone arrives so they can make it through the day and night)! It was so nice to have the entire family together to take a photo, and a great photo of all the cousins together, and of course the sister picture. Which this year I am not fond of! Can't wait to have this baby and get my butt back into shape again!! Merry Christmas to all!!!!
Christmas Eve and Morning
I hosted Christmas Eve for the first time at our home. So there is no pictures. :( I was busy running around and never thought about stopping for a moment for pictures. It was a wonderful time with The Von Heimburgs, Grandma Peg, and Sally. The kids were crazy!! I think they liked all the people in the house and were showing off! I did manage to remember a picture of the kids in their Christmas pajamas right before they went up to bed. We had cookies and milk out for Santa and carrots laying outside for the reindeer. After that the kids were so exhausted and fell right asleep!

Paradise Ranch!
A new tradition from last year, a visit to Paradise Ranch! I highly recommend this place! So much fun. There is a warming barn to hang out in before the horse drawn sleigh ride which has your own private SANTA! Along with snacks, games, and hot cocoa. Then a ride though the woods (snow would have been nice but still just as fun without it). Then finish up with a bonfire and Santa hangs out the whole time! The kids have the greatest of time and Santa is so good with them, he even got Gavyn to warm up to him. :) Really gets you into the holiday spirit!

Pumpkin Farms!
We went to the Family Farm in Cedarburg with cousins. The kids love the place and it is never crowded, we had the whole place to ourselves. The kids enjoy petting and feeding the animals, going on hikes, and seeing inside the old barns. This will most likely be the last year they will be open so we are pretty bummed about that. :( We also took a trip to Basses with the Molaski's, tons of activities to do with the kids but pricey! May be the last year we go to that farm as well. It was also freezing out that day but we braved the cold then all came back to the house for pizzas and beers! Well, beers for the guys ;) Loving Fall!

The Calatrava
As we were leaving the Betty Brinn Museum downtown Milwaukee we just happened to catch the wings of the Calatrava closing and opening. It was neat to see. The kids really didn't have much interest (well either did Mike) so I guess I am the only one that enjoyed it. :) Lilyana thought the wings would be flapping fast like a bird so was disappointed when she noticed how slow it moves. It was cute, right when we saw it Lilyana asked why there was a string ray there. Never thought it looked like a sting ray until I imagined it through the eyes of a 4 year old. ;)
