We were lucky enough to receive a free swing set from a friend of Grandma Peg's for Lilyana. We ended up paying someone to take it down and install it in our yard and after a little TLC with sanding and staining it should look like new! The structure of the swing set is is great which made it well worth the money! Lilyana already learned to climb up the ramp all by herself! This really shouldn't surprise us because she figures everything out right away! She loves to go down the slide but since it is such a big slide we need to go down with her. We are planning on ripping up the grass and laying down mulch around the perimeter of the play set.
Along with that project, we are in the process of finally updating our backyard! We had old railroad ties surrounding the patio which we ripped and now working on getting the area leveled because it was two-tiered. After that we we get to decide what the new look will be! It will be so nice to have our backyard fixed up this summer. Lilyana just loves to be outdoors and it will be so much nicer to play out there after all our projects are done!
