Breakfast at the Pfister Hotel

A tradition 3 years running is having breakfast with Santa at the Pfister with Grandma, the girls, and the grandchildren. It is a wonderful time. Lilyana did not want Santa to be there but after she got a gift from him she got so excited and ran up and gave him a big hug. I was so proud of her. Her first picture with Santa finally! Gavyn of course was perfect as usual. Smiled not caring who was holding him. Thanks Mom for the wonderful tradition!!

Our Gingerbread House

Saint Nick

Saint Nick came by the house early December. We were trying to prep Lilyana by telling her Saint Nick comes to the house at night when we were sleeping and fills our stockings with little gifts. Well...not a good idea, the poor girl was so frightened that "Nick" was coming in our house she didn't want to sleep. She continued to peek out the window in a frightened voice asking if Nick was here yet. She finally feel asleep and was so excited to see the stockings the next morning. Gavyn is just happy no matter what he is doing so he enjoyed it as well.

Kid's Tree

Lilyana decorated the tree all by herself and loved being such a big girl doing it on her own while Mommy, Daddy, and Gavyn watched her. She was so proud.

Our Tree!

Getting the Tree!

As tradition since I was a child, after the Christmas parade we would go to get the Christmas tree. Lilyana thought the tree lot was the coolest thing ever and really enjoyed running around looking for the perfect tree. She actually picked our tree and herself and its perfect!

Grafton Christmas Parade

The Saturday after Thanksgiving was the Grafton Christmas Parade, always a fun time! Gavyn sat so good in the wagon and watched the parade the whole time until he fell asleep sitting up! Lilyana always enjoys the parades and loves running out to get all the candy. To follow tradition we went out to buy our Christmas tree afterwards. We love this time of the year!

Thanksgiving~Williamson's

The family got together at Grandma Peg's for Thanksgiving on Friday. It's always a great time to have all the cousins playing together. Grandma Peg then watched all four children while we all went out for a night on the town! Great times. (Ashton was sleeping while we were taking pictures so that's why he is not shown).

Thanksgiving~Peterson's

The whole Peterson family got together for Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful time. Ellyson and Lilyana broke the wishbone and Ellyson got the big end! We took time to go around the table to say what we were thankful for, we were all thankful for our faith, health, family, and good food! Lilyana was thankful for presents! :)Gavyn also turned 8 months old on Thanksgiving Day! We cannot believe that he is now closer to being a uone year old than a newborn! And congrats to TJ for passing his firefighters exam and becoming 1st on the lieutenant's list! We are all so proud of you- what a great accomplishment!

Enjoying the Fire

Lilyana asks Daddy almost every night if we can have a fire. She loves to help him get the wood, put paper in and start it up! She sits next to the fire and loves how it feels so warm on her back. Gavyn enjoys taking it all in as well.

Pulling myself up on everything!

Gavyn has learned that he can stand up in his crib. Mike had to lower the mattress to the lowest setting immediately! 8 months old- and as you can see from his gummy smile no teeth yet!
