Gavyn turns 3!

Gavyn enjoyed a day of birthday fun. He got to open some presents when he woke up then we went out to lunch (where he ate nothing but the brownie dessert). We then took him ice skating for the first time. I was very leery about this since he doesn't like to try new things and open skate was the same time as nap time. BUT, surprisingly he LOVED it! He made no fuss about getting the skates on and thought it was so funny trying to walk with them. He did not hesitate at all and went right onto the ice. Daddy had to hold him and was getting a sore back but Gavyn did not want to stop. He was smiling the entire time. Lilyana is getting so good at skating, she is getting faster and doing twirls. She also really enjoyed herself. We came home from skating and enjoyed some ice cream cake and sang Happy Birthday! (Yes, he had no food besides a brownie and ice cream cake-it was his day, he got spoiled) :) Cannot believe our little man is 3. Time truly does fly by. It feels like yesterday I was in the hospital with him. Happy Birthday Gavyn!! We love you!!!!

Easter Fun!

We have always done the Easter Egg Hunt in Grafton every year, this year my work had their first annual Egg Hunt. It turned out great and the kids had a blast. Even though there is still snow on the ground the sun was shining and there was no wind so it actually felt pretty nice out. The kids were just as excited if not more to hold the baby chicks as they were to look for eggs. Gavyn would only go by the Easter Bunny if Mommy went in the picture with him. And yes, you are witnessing the one of the only pictures of my big pregnant self! This baby will have no month by month pictures to look at of Mommy growing and I am OK with that and she better be too! 15 more days! My Dr said she thinks I am the most excited she has ever seen to have a c-section. I am so ready to be done this time around and can't wait to hold our new Baby Girl! We then decorated eggs at home and the kids did really well. 18 eggs was not enough!

SNOW DAY!

We got to enjoy a wonderful snow day with the whole family at the end of Feb. Daddy was off of work and got to spend all day outdoors with the kids. They had a blast building a snowman and "climbing mountains". Enough with the snow now, we are ready for Spring!

Lilyana turns 5!

Lilyana's actual birthday was at the end of February. I left it up to her to plan her day and said we could do whatever she wanted. Of course, it was all animal related. We first went out to Hoffer's where she has not been before and looked at all the animals. We had no idea you could feed all the tortoises and get so close to them! The kids had so much fun feeding lettuce to them. I believe they said the oldest was 23 years old and has been in commercials. :) Then Lilyana wanted to visit the animals at the shelter. We took a donation in and a nice worker gave us a private tour and brought out a puppy for Lilyana to hold. We almost walked out with that puppy if it wasn't for the phone call to Daddy who said no way! We went out to eat then enjoyed cake and presents when Daddy got home from work. The day was perfect and Lilyana enjoyed every moment. Our little girl is 5! It just sounds so much older then 4! Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!

Kid's Birthday Party!!

The kids birthday was to be a "Rainbow Theme" Party but Mom got a little lazy/tired and didn't do as much as was planned. But the kids did not notice either way! We had a clown come "Miss Sparkle" who I highly recommend. She is so talented and actually attended clown school! I didn't know there really was a clown school. :) She entertained the children with face painting and balloon animals. The balloon animals were a huge hit with the kids. Gavyn did not want much to do with his party so he is not in many pictures. :( He was afraid of the clown so would not get his face painted and wouldn't let me take any pictures of him without hiding his face. Such a stinker. Daddy was able to get him involved and at least blow out his candles at the end of the party. We are thankful for all our friends and family that could make it! It means a lot to us and the kids! Lilyana talked about her upcoming party for weeks and was so excited for it. She wanted to make sure all her guests were given cake and personally handed out cake to each person before devouring her own piece. So sweet of her. I cannot believe the kids are 5 and almost 3! They are just growing so fast. Good thing another little babe will arrive in less then a month! Happy Birthday Lilyana and Gavyn! We Love You!!
